|The format of the annual meeting is a mixture of talks, visits and socialising. Talks are at a general interest level so no specialist scientific knowledge is needed – just a general interest in the world around you. Visits are being arranged for the Tuesday (details and cost later).
The full programme will be available in June/July.
Cost The residential cost is £265 per person in single en suite rooms with meals as stated on the programme. There may be a limited number of places for day visitors at £100 including some meals (except breakfast).
Accommodation is in single student bedrooms with en suite facilities. There are lifts in the residential blocks.
If you wish to stay at Nottingham on the night of Sunday 5 or Thursday 9 August, please indicate on the Booking form. If there is sufficient demand this can be in the student accommodation for an extra charge of £50 for Bed and Breakfast but there is hotel accommodation available on site.
Meals Our first meal will be an evening meal on Monday 6 August. Thereafter the price includes cooked breakfast, evening meal, coffee/tea for the breaks between talks. There will also be lunch on Wednesday and before we depart on Thursday.
Please advise us if you have special dietary requirements.
Other facilities The campus is wheelchair friendly and there are lifts in the teaching block. There is a small number of rooms for the disabled. If you require this please indicate under “Any Other Requirements”. There is a small shop on site, café and a bar which is open in the evenings.
