This is a new group starting in February 2022 – open to all pianists at any level. The aim is that each member of the group will prepare a piece of music to play for the group. Pieces can be very simple or advanced, jazzy or classical, pop or improvised – the more diverse the better! There is a maximum of 5-6 minutes for each performance although some will be much shorter than this, and more than one piece within that time slot is welcomed.
Playing will be followed by coffee and chat and it is hoped that there will be an opportunity for members to find duet partners if wanted, or other musical opportunities.
Meetings will take place on the 4th Friday of the month (first meeting on Friday 25th February) from 10 – 12. Details of the venue are available from me.
