Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, at Knutsford Methodist Church, at the starting time of 2.15pm. Attendance is free for non members of Knutsford u3a.

Neil Tomlinson'Tax, Care & Toy Boys' – a talk about protecting your family’s nest egg, inheritance tax, LPAs and stopping a sideways disinheritance. Whilst the message is serious; our Speaker’s delivery is informal, humorous and delivered in plain English. Neil is a Co-op Estate Planning Manager.
May 9thHoward BarlowPart 2 of his photography talk. This will be a follow up on his fascinating talk last year telling us more stories and showing his amazing photos of famous musicians, stars and politicians together with pictures of life in Salford in the ‘60s.
June 13thDave ThomasA talk on the Egerton family who have owned the Tatton estate for some 360 years from 1598 up to the death of the last Baron Egerton in 1958. Dave volunteers as a 1940s Teamsman at the farm at Tatton working with Shire horses.
July 11thTom JonesAGM - followed by ‘It’s a Guide’s Life’. Tom was born in Chester and his admiration for the city led him to become a city of Chester guide, a role he has been doing for 21 years.
September 12thPossible Showcase meeting/social meeting.
October 10thHelen NaylorA talk entitled ‘A coffee-fuelled revolution’. This talk links the birth of businesses, charities and some of our great art institutions. She'll also weave in the tale King's Coffeehouse in Knutsford!

Loop System

Just to remind members attending general meetings who are hard of hearing that a loop system is in place at Knutsford Methodist Church.  This is activated when the sound system is in use and hearing aids should be switched to the ‘T’ position.  Please contact the Technical Team if you experience any problems.
