This group is now well established and members take pleasure in discussing shows and films recently seen.
If you go to the theatre or cinema and would like to talk about what you have seen in a friendly group, this is for you. So far we have discussed our views of stage dramas and comedies, a variety of films and live relay performances of Shakespeare and opera.
It’s always interesting to hear the views of others, even if we haven’t seen the performance, as it gives a different perspective and encourages us to widen the range of things we see. Recommendations / views for films seen on television are discussed in the absence of any outings.
We normally meet at 3.30pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month in members’ homes and agree the date for the next meeting.
