This new group meets monthly in members’ homes at 11am on a Monday.
The first meeting is at 48a Cranford Ave on the 17th June. The book selected for discussion is Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell which is a fictional account of William Shakespeare’s son Hamnet who died aged 11 in 1569 focussing on the parents’ grief. It won the Women’s Prize for Literature in 2020.
