This group is specifically for National trust members, the idea being that we, intially, organise outings to two or three NT properties during 2026, all participants will be members so the only cost to you will be the transport.
If an event is shown as Sold Out please contact Adrian by phone or email (see above) if you wish to be added to the waiting list.
Our first outing has now been fixed for Thursday 16th April, Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield.
SOLD OUT
An Elizabethan masterpiece filled with rich furnishings and tapestries preserved by successive generations of the Devonshire family. It was the formidable ‘Bess of Hardwick’ who first built the house and developed the surrounding estate in the late 16th century.
The coach will depart from Knutsford Bus station at 9:15 sharp, we should arrive around 11:00, there is a lovely café and shop, and we will depart at 15:30 expecting to be in Knutsford between 17:00 and 17:30.
The cost will be £15 per head; this will cover the return coach and a driver tip. Please make sure you bring your National Trust card, and it is current, these will be scanned when we arrive.
The other two dates currently are 2nd July and 13th October, I’m thinking of Shugborough and Kedleston Hall but that may change.
