Welcome to the Knutsford and District u3a Website

This site is for those who wish to find out more about us and to provide information for members.

Knutsford and District u3a, with over 700 members, is part of the national network of u3a groups.  It is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment, and provides educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.  Skills and experiences are shared in a variety of ways through meetings, and social and group activities. There are many activities to choose from to help you get the most out of your membership.

We hold our members’ meetings on the second Thursday of each month at Knutsford Methodist Church in Princess Street, Knutsford at 2.15pm.  After a brief update there is a talk by a speaker on a topic of general interest.  Tea or coffee and biscuits are available after the talk.

For more information about how we work, our many activity groups, outings and visits, theatre and concert visits or if you wish to browse our newsletter, Kanuta, please click on the links at the top of the page.

For details of our new Hidden Talents meetings, Using Zoom or Cyber Crime prevention look under ‘Other Info’ at the right of this page.

You can now apply to join on-line. If you are interested in doing so please visit our membership page or if you have any further questions, contact us via the top menu.

The ‘Latest News’ can be found in the column to the right. If you can’t find what you are looking for then use the ‘Search Site’ box or ‘Sitemap’ (under ‘Other Info’).
